Random Notes

I've been playing Dragon Age: Origins again. I just want to give a hearty "Fuck you" to the Brood Mother. She won this round, but I will take that foul bitch down eventually. I retreated from the Deep Roads and worked on some side quests for awhile to cool off.

I'd planned to go for a rematch after work, but I came home to find the power out in my living room and bedroom. Well, mostly. Everything on what I think of as "the crap circuit" with the ancient wiring was out. In contrast, "the good circuit" was fine. The bathroom had light and power, and the outlet powering my computer was fine.

It's not an unheard of problem, although it's been months and months since the last time. I'll call first thing in the morning so they can do their maintenance magic. Hopefully the stuff in the fridge will be okay for a few more hours.
